Very nice campground, especially for a one-night pass through. Nicely landscaped in desert plants; very clean and convenient - right off the I-17. Only criticism would be lack of trees; however, this is not unlike other desert community RV parks. Mostly older adults - did not see any children, but that could be time of year. Pets are welcome.
I agree with the previous post stating this park is weird. Yes, it is well maintained and nice, but it is like you are being watched every second to make sure you do not break "A Rule!" My husband and I are in our 50s and very respectful of rules; however, when my husband is out cleaning the RV windshield (with Windex - no hose in sight) and the park manager comes by twice to make sure he "doesn't plan to hook up a hose and wash the RV" then you know something is terribly wrong. The park was so quiet you could hear a pin drop and it felt like you were under surveillance the whole time. Seemed like most RVers were over 70 and didn't have a problem with the control-freak park managers, but we won't be staying here again!!
Very nice campground: especially the river front sites. Not sure why some reviewers were so critical, unless they haven't been to many RV parks. We have been to many and this one rates among the better ones. The facilities were neat and clean and staff was friendly. As for the cost: yes, a bit pricey, but we don't mind paying for a nice campground. We have friends (who also have a lot of RV camping experience) who recommended the park, and they too thought this was a really nice park!
